Ngày 05/02/2026, Lễ Bế mạc và Trao giải Hội thao Trí tuệ UPT lần 3 đã diễn ra tại Trường Đại học Phan Thiết.
Tham dự chương trình có TS. Phan Thế Nhân – Phó Trưởng Khoa Kỹ thuật Công nghệ; ThS. Lâm Ngọc Điệp – Chủ tịch Công đoàn Trường; ThS. Nguyễn Như Trường – Trưởng Phòng Công tác Chính trị Sinh viên & Hợp tác Doanh nghiệp (CTCTSV&HTDN); cùng đại diện lãnh đạo, cán bộ, giảng viên và đông đảo sinh viên đến từ các Khoa, Phòng chuyên môn trong toàn Trường.

Theo đánh giá của Ban Tổ chức, Hội thao Trí tuệ UPT lần 3 đã diễn ra sôi nổi, thu hút đông đảo thí sinh tham gia ở cả ba nội dung thi đấu gồm Cờ vua, Cờ tướng và Cờ caro. Đặc biệt, các thí sinh tham gia với tinh thần vui tươi, giao lưu, học hỏi, qua đó góp phần thắt chặt tình cảm giữa sinh viên với sinh viên, thầy cô và đồng nghiệp trong Nhà trường.
Phát biểu tại Lễ Bế mạc và Trao giải, TS. Phan Thế Nhân – Phó Trưởng Khoa Kỹ thuật Công nghệ đã đánh giá cao tinh thần tham gia nghiêm túc, trung thực và đầy trách nhiệm của sinh viên trong Hội thao năm nay. Theo thầy, nhiều ván đấu diễn ra hấp dẫn, thể hiện rõ sự chuẩn bị chu đáo, tư duy chiến thuật và bản lĩnh thi đấu của các vận động viên.
Đại diện Lãnh đạo Khoa Kỹ thuật Công nghệ khẳng định, Hội thao không chỉ là sân chơi tranh tài trí tuệ mà còn góp phần rèn luyện tư duy logic, tinh thần fair-play, đồng thời tăng cường sự gắn kết giữa sinh viên, cán bộ và giảng viên trong toàn Trường. Nhân dịp này, TS. Phan Thế Nhân cũng gửi lời cảm ơn đến Ban Giám hiệu, Ban Tổ chức, Tổ Trọng tài và chúc mừng các tập thể, cá nhân đạt thành tích cao tại Hội thao.

Sau phần phát biểu, các đại biểu đã tiến hành trao giải cho các thí sinh đạt giải Nhất, Nhì, Ba ở từng nội dung thi đấu. Lễ trao giải diễn ra trong không khí trang trọng, phấn khởi, khép lại Hội thao Trí tuệ UPT lần 3 với nhiều dấu ấn tích cực.

On February 5, 2026, the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation of the 3rd UPT Intellectual Sports Festival was held at the University of Phan Thiet.
Attending the event were Dr. Phan The Nhan – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Ms. Lam Ngoc Diep, M.A. – Chairwoman of the University Trade Union; Mr. Nguyen Nhu Truong, M.A. – Head of the Office of Student Political Affairs and Enterprise Cooperation; along with representatives of the University leadership, faculty members, staff, and a large number of students from various faculties and functional departments across the University.
Overview of the event
According to the Organizing Committee, the 3rd UPT Intellectual Sports Festival took place in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere, attracting a large number of participants across all three competition categories: Chess, Chinese Chess, and Caro (Gomoku). Notably, contestants competed with a cheerful spirit of exchange and learning, thereby contributing to strengthening bonds among students, lecturers, and colleagues within the University.
Speaking at the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation, Dr. Phan The Nhan – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology highly appreciated the students’ serious, honest, and responsible participation throughout this year’s festival. He noted that many matches were exciting and competitive, clearly reflecting the contestants’ thorough preparation, strategic thinking, and competitive composure.
Representing the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Phan The Nhan affirmed that the festival was not only an intellectual competition but also a healthy academic playground that helped foster logical thinking, a spirit of fair play, and stronger connections among students, faculty members, and staff throughout the University. On this occasion, he also expressed his sincere thanks to the Board of Rectors, the Organizing Committee, and the Referees for their dedicated and responsible contributions, while extending congratulations to the teams and individuals who achieved outstanding results in the festival.

Following the speeches, the delegates presented First, Second, and Third prizes to the contestants in each competition category. The award ceremony took place in a solemn yet joyful atmosphere, bringing the 3rd UPT Intellectual Sports Festival to a successful close with many positive impressions.
