Hòa trong không khí ý nghĩa của Tháng Công nhân năm 2026, Trường Đại học Phan Thiết (UPT) đã long trọng tổ chức chương trình “Cảm ơn người lao động” kết hợp hoạt động chăm sóc sức khỏe răng hàm mặt và Lễ kết nạp Đoàn viên mới với chủ đề “Lớp Đoàn viên tháng 5”. Chương trình không chỉ thể hiện sự tri ân đối với đội ngũ cán bộ, giảng viên, nhân viên mà còn khẳng định sự quan tâm sâu sắc của Nhà trường đối với đời sống vật chất, tinh thần và sức khỏe của người lao động.
Tham dự chương trình, về phía lãnh đạo Nhà trường có TS. Nguyễn Tấn Ý – Phó Hiệu trưởng, Trưởng khoa Kỹ thuật Công nghệ; Cô Nguyễn Anh Đông – Ủy viên Hội đồng trường, Phó Bí thư Đảng ủy, Trưởng phòng Kế hoạch – Tài chính. Về phía Ban Chấp hành Công đoàn có ThS. Lâm Ngọc Điệp – Chủ tịch Công đoàn Trường. Đại diện đơn vị phối hợp có BS. Lê Văn Sĩ – Giám đốc Nha khoa Quốc tế Sài Gòn New. Cùng sự hiện diện của Quý Thầy Cô là Trưởng, Phó các đơn vị và toàn thể giảng viên, nhân viên Nhà trường.

Phát biểu khai mạc chương trình, TS. Nguyễn Tấn Ý – Phó Hiệu trưởng, Trưởng khoa Kỹ thuật Công nghệ Trường Đại học Phan Thiết gửi lời tri ân sâu sắc đến toàn thể cán bộ, giảng viên, nhân viên đã luôn nỗ lực, đồng hành cùng sự phát triển của Nhà trường trong suốt thời gian qua. Phó Hiệu trưởng bày tỏ kỳ vọng các Đoàn viên công đoàn sẽ tiếp tục phát huy tinh thần đoàn kết, gắn bó, chung tay xây dựng tổ chức Công đoàn Trường Đại học Phan Thiết ngày càng vững mạnh và có thêm nhiều hoạt động thiết thực chăm lo đời sống Đoàn viên.
Bên cạnh đó, TS. Nguyễn Tấn Ý cũng nhấn mạnh mong muốn tiếp tục tăng cường mối quan hệ hợp tác giữa Trường Đại học Phan Thiết và Nha khoa Quốc tế Sài Gòn New nhằm triển khai thêm nhiều chương trình chăm sóc sức khỏe ý nghĩa dành cho cán bộ, giảng viên, nhân viên; đồng thời góp phần lan tỏa hình ảnh và thương hiệu của hai đơn vị.

Tiếp lời, ThS. Lâm Ngọc Điệp – Chủ tịch Công đoàn Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã có những chia sẻ về vai trò của tổ chức Công đoàn trong việc đại diện, chăm lo quyền và lợi ích hợp pháp cho Đoàn viên. Theo đó, Công đoàn UPT luôn nỗ lực triển khai nhiều hoạt động thiết thực nhằm nâng cao đời sống vật chất, tinh thần, tạo môi trường làm việc tích cực và gắn kết cho cán bộ, giảng viên, nhân viên Nhà trường. Sau phần phát biểu, ThS. Lâm Ngọc Điệp đã trao quyết định kết nạp và chúc mừng các Đoàn viên công đoàn mới trong “Lớp Đoàn viên tháng 5”.

Phát biểu tại chương trình, BS. Lê Văn Sĩ – Giám đốc Nha khoa Quốc tế Sài Gòn New đánh giá cao tinh thần hợp tác giữa doanh nghiệp và Nhà trường, đồng thời ấn tượng với sự quan tâm của UPT đối với đời sống, sức khỏe của đội ngũ cán bộ, giảng viên, nhân viên.
Nhân dịp này, Nha khoa Quốc tế Sài Gòn New đã trao tặng 2 suất hỗ trợ Implant và niềng răng, mỗi suất trị giá 25 triệu đồng dành cho cán bộ, nhân viên Nhà trường. Ngoài ra, đơn vị cũng tổ chức chương trình thăm khám và tư vấn miễn phí, chụp X-quang tổng quát, lấy cao răng, đánh bóng và điều trị cơ bản cho tập thể cán bộ, giảng viên, nhân viên UPT ngay sau khi chương trình kết thúc.

In celebration of Workers’ Month 2026, the University of Phan Thiet (UPT) solemnly organized the “Thank You to Workers” program in conjunction with an oral and maxillofacial healthcare activity and the induction ceremony for new Trade Union members under the theme “May Trade Union Member Class.” The program not only expressed appreciation for the dedication and contributions of the University’s staff, lecturers, and employees, but also reaffirmed the University’s deep concern for the material well-being, mental health, and overall quality of life of its workforce.
Attending the program, representatives from the University leadership included Dr. Nguyen Tan Y – Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Ms. Nguyen Anh Dong – Member of the University Council, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Head of the Planning and Finance Department. Representing the Executive Committee of the Trade Union was M.A. Lam Ngoc Diep – Chairwoman of the University Trade Union. Representing the partner organization was Dr. Le Van Si – Director of Sai Gon New International Dental Clinic. The event was also attended by heads and deputy heads of various units, along with lecturers and staff members of the University.
Overview of the program
Delivering the opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Tan Y – Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the University of Phan Thiet – expressed sincere gratitude to all staff members, lecturers, and employees who have continuously dedicated their efforts and accompanied the University throughout its development journey. He expressed his expectation that Trade Union members would continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity and unity, contributing to the increasingly strong development of the University of Phan Thiet Trade Union and promoting more practical activities to support members’ lives and well-being.
In addition, Dr. Nguyen Tan Y emphasized the desire to further strengthen the cooperative relationship between the University of Phan Thiet and Sai Gon New International Dental Clinic in order to implement more meaningful healthcare programs for the University’s staff and employees, while also enhancing the image and reputation of both organizations.

Continuing the program, M.A. Lam Ngoc Diep – Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the University of Phan Thiet – shared insights into the role of the Trade Union in representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members. Accordingly, the UPT Trade Union has consistently made efforts to organize meaningful and practical activities aimed at improving both the material and spiritual well-being of staff members, while fostering a positive and connected working environment within the University.

Representing the newly inducted members, Ms. Diep Thanh Hoa – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Finance, Accounting and Banking – expressed her emotion and pride in officially becoming a member of the Trade Union of the University of Phan Thiet. She affirmed her commitment to actively participating in Trade Union activities, continuously improving her professional expertise, and contributing to the strong and sustainable development of the UPT Trade Union.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Le Van Si – Director of Sai Gon New International Dental Clinic – highly appreciated the spirit of cooperation between the business sector and the University, and expressed his admiration for UPT’s attention to the well-being and healthcare of its staff, lecturers, and employees.
On this occasion, Sai Gon New International Dental Clinic presented two support packages for dental implants and orthodontic treatment, each worth VND 25 million, to staff members of the University. In addition, the clinic organized free dental check-ups and consultations, general X-ray examinations, scaling and polishing services, and basic dental treatments for UPT staff, lecturers, and employees immediately after the program.
