Sáng ngày 26/5/2023, tại Hội trường Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã diễn ra Hội thảo với chủ đề “Phát triển bền vững du lịch tỉnh Bình Thuận: thực trạng và giải pháp” (gọi tắt là Hội thảo). Hội thảo do Trường Đại học Phan Thiết phối hợp Liên hiệp các Hội Khoa học và Kỹ thuật tỉnh Bình Thuận tổ chức.

Phát biểu khai mạc Hội thảo, PGS,TS. Võ Khắc Thường cho rằng: “Du lịch là ngành kinh tế mũi nhọn, một trụ cột phát triển, góp phần quan trọng trong việc khai thác có hiệu quả tài nguyên đất đai, lao động, thúc đẩy phát triển kinh tế – xã hội của tỉnh Bình Thuận. Tuy nhiên, tiềm năng của ngành du lịch vẫn có thể được phát huy mạnh hơn nữa dựa vào lợi thế của địa phương.” Chính vì lý do đó, Hội thảo lần này được tổ chức với mục tiêu nhận định những thuận lợi, khó khăn trong việc thu hút khách du lịch trong nước và Quốc tế đến du lịch tỉnh Bình Thuận trong thời gian qua. Qua đó, tạo điều kiện cho các nhà nghiên cứu, các giảng viên, đại diện các cơ quan nhà nước, doanh nghiệp trong ngành kinh tế nói chung và ngành du lịch nói riêng có cơ hội chia sẻ kinh nghiệm, đóng góp ý kiến và đề xuất giải pháp phát triển những lợi thế du lịch sẵn có trong thời gian tới.

Các tham luận tại Hội thảo đã cung cấp nhiều nội dung có tính cấp thiết, đề xuất những giải pháp cụ thể trên cơ sở nghiên cứu lý luận và thực tiễn nhằm góp phần phát triển du lịch tỉnh Bình Thuận.
Buổi Hội thảo nhận được sự quan tâm và hưởng ứng sôi nổi từ các vị đại biểu và toàn thể cán bộ, giảng viên, sinh viên. Các chuyên gia, nhà khoa học đã nêu lên những vấn đề bất cập, những mặt còn hạn chế của ngành du lịch để cùng nhau làm rõ hơn các giải pháp trong thời gian tới, đặc biệt là các nhóm giải pháp được nêu trong Nghị quyết số 06-NQ/TU, ngày 24/10/2021 của Ban Chấp hành Đảng bộ tỉnh Bình Thuận (Khóa XIV) về phát triển du lịch đến năm 2025, định hướng đến năm 2030.

Trao đổi tại Hội thảo, Bà Nguyễn Lan Ngọc – Phó Giám đốc Sở Văn hóa, Thể thao và Du lịch tỉnh Bình Thuận đánh giá cao tính cần thiết của Hội thảo, đây là cơ hội rất tốt để những cơ quan nhà nước thuộc lĩnh vực du lịch lắng nghe, tiếp thu những ý kiến góp ý nhằm phát triển ngành du lịch tỉnh nhà.

Hội thảo “Phát triển bền vững du lịch tỉnh Bình Thuận: thực trạng và giải pháp” tại Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã diễn ra thành công tốt đẹp với rất nhiều nội dung, ý kiến được trao đổi một cách cởi mở, mang tính xây dựng. Thông qua Hội thảo, giảng viên, sinh viên nhà trường đã có thêm nhiều thông tin hữu ích về thực tiễn ngành du lịch tại địa phương, được trao đổi học thuật cùng các chuyên gia, nhà nghiên cứu trong và ngoài tỉnh, góp phần nâng cao chất lượng giảng dạy tại Trường Đại học Phan Thiết.

The presentations at the Conference provided many urgent contents, proposing specific solutions based on theoretical and practical research to contribute to the development of tourism in Binh Thuan province.
The seminar received attention and enthusiastic response from delegates and all staff, lecturers and students. Experts and scientists have raised shortcomings and limitations of the tourism industry to jointly clarify solutions in the coming time, especially the groups of solutions mentioned in the Resolution. Decision No. 06-NQ/TU, dated October 24, 2021 of the Executive Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee (Term XIV) on tourism development to 2025, orientation to 2030.
