Chiều ngày 20/4/2023, tại sân bóng đá trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã diễn ra lễ khai mạc Giải Bóng đá Truyền thống Mini nữ lần 10 – Năm 2023. Giải bóng do Đoàn Khoa Tài chính – Kế toán – Ngân hàng đăng cai tổ chức nhằm thiết thực chào mừng kỷ niệm 48 năm Ngày giải phóng quê hương Bình Thuận (19/4/1975 – 19/4/2023) và giải phóng hoàn toàn miền Nam, thống nhất đất nước (30/4/1975 – 30/4/2023).
Tham dự buổi khai mạc có sự hiện diện của PGS.TS. Đinh Phi Hổ – Bí Thư Chi bộ – Phó Hiệu trưởng Nhà trường; ThS. Nguyễn Như Trường – Phó Trưởng Phòng CTCTSV-QHDN&HTVLSV; ThS. Lâm Ngọc Điệp – Chủ tịch Công đoàn trường; cùng đại diện lãnh đạo các Khoa, Phòng; cán bộ nhân viên, giảng viên cùng các em sinh viên trong toàn trường Đại học Phan Thiết.

Mở đầu buổi lễ khai mạc, PGS.TS. Đinh Phi Hổ – Bí Thư Chi bộ – Phó Hiệu trưởng trường Đại học Phan Thiết bày tỏ sự vui mừng vì Nhà trường và các Khoa luôn quan tâm và duy trì tổ chức các hoạt động bổ ích, lành mạnh cho tập thể sinh viên và CBNVGV nữ. Giải bóng đá mini nữ không chỉ là sân chơi để chị em phụ nữ Nhà trường được rèn luyện sức khỏe, nâng cao tinh thần thể dục, thể thao, mà còn là cơ hội để mọi người được thắt chặt tinh thần đoàn kết, gắn bó. Phó Hiệu Trưởng Đinh Phi Hổ hy vọng, tất cả vận động viên sẽ có một mùa giải thi đấu thật thành công, để lại được nhiều kỷ niệm đáng nhớ.

Ngay sau lễ khai mạc đã diễn ra trận đấu đầu tiên giữa hai đội bóng dưới sự cổ vũ nhiệt tình và hết sức sôi động của đông đảo khán giả có mặt tại sân. Mùa giải năm nay dự kiến kéo dài trong gần một tháng với hình thức thi đấu loại trực tiếp. 04 đội bóng xuất sắc nhất sẽ tiến vào vòng bán kết và chung kết để tranh cúp vô địch vào ngày 10/5/2023.
