Sáng ngày 05/3/2026, Đoàn Thanh niên Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã long trọng tổ chức Lễ khởi động Tháng Thanh niên năm 2026 và phát động Tết trồng cây “Đời đời nhớ ơn Bác Hồ” Xuân Bính Ngọ. Chương trình diễn ra trong không khí trang trọng, sôi nổi với sự tham gia đông đảo của cán bộ, đoàn viên, sinh viên nhà trường, mở đầu cho chuỗi hoạt động tình nguyện thiết thực của tuổi trẻ trong tháng Ba.
Hòa chung không khí thi đua sôi nổi của tuổi trẻ cả nước hướng tới kỷ niệm 95 năm Ngày thành lập Đoàn Thanh niên Cộng sản Hồ Chí Minh (26/3/1931 – 26/3/2026), buổi lễ khởi động Tháng Thanh niên năm nay không chỉ thể hiện tinh thần nhiệt huyết, trách nhiệm của đoàn viên, thanh niên mà còn khẳng định vai trò xung kích của tuổi trẻ trong các hoạt động vì cộng đồng và bảo vệ môi trường.
Trong khuôn khổ chương trình, Nhà trường cũng chính thức phát động Tết trồng cây “Đời đời nhớ ơn Bác Hồ” Xuân Bính Ngọ 2026. Khắc ghi lời dạy của Hồ Chí Minh: “Vì lợi ích mười năm thì phải trồng cây, vì lợi ích trăm năm thì phải trồng người”, hoạt động nhằm nâng cao nhận thức của đoàn viên, thanh niên UPT về ý nghĩa của việc trồng cây xanh, bảo vệ môi trường sinh thái, góp phần xây dựng cảnh quan xanh – sạch – đẹp và ứng phó với biến đổi khí hậu.

Ngay sau lễ phát động, hàng trăm đoàn viên, thanh niên đã hăng hái ra quân thực hiện các hoạt động tình nguyện ý nghĩa như làm sạch bãi biển, chỉnh trang khuôn viên trường và trồng cây xanh. Tại khu vực Bãi biển Đá Ông Địa, các bạn đoàn viên, sinh viên trong màu áo xanh tình nguyện đã tích cực thu gom rác thải, dọn dẹp vệ sinh dọc bờ biển, góp phần trả lại cảnh quan sạch đẹp cho một điểm du lịch nổi tiếng của địa phương, đồng thời lan tỏa thông điệp bảo vệ môi trường biển đến người dân và du khách. Bên cạnh đó, một lực lượng đoàn viên khác đã tiến hành tổng vệ sinh, nhổ cỏ, quét dọn và thu gom rác thải trong khuôn viên trường, góp phần xây dựng môi trường học đường xanh – sạch – đẹp.
Điểm nhấn của chương trình là hoạt động trồng mới 50 cây xanh trong khuôn viên Nhà trường. Những mầm cây được trồng và chăm sóc cẩn thận trong tiết trời mùa xuân mang theo kỳ vọng về một môi trường học tập trong lành, đồng thời thể hiện tinh thần trách nhiệm và cam kết của tuổi trẻ nhà trường đối với công tác bảo vệ thiên nhiên và phát triển bền vững.

On the morning of March 5, 2026, the University of Phan Thiet Youth Union solemnly organized the Launching Ceremony of Youth Month 2026 and officially initiated the Tree-Planting Festival “Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho” – Spring Binh Ngọ. The program was held in a formal and vibrant atmosphere with the enthusiastic participation of a large number of staff members, Youth Union members, and students, marking the beginning of a series of meaningful volunteer activities throughout March.
Joining the nationwide spirit of youth emulation to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026), the ceremony reflected the strong sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and dedication of young people while affirming the pioneering role of Youth Union members in community engagement and environmental protection activities.
Within the framework of the program, the university also officially launched the Tree-Planting Festival “Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho” – Spring Binh Ngo 2026. Inspired by the teaching of Ho Chi Minh: “For the benefit of ten years, plant trees; for the benefit of one hundred years, cultivate people,” the campaign aims to raise awareness among Youth Union members and students about the importance of tree planting, environmental protection, and the creation of a green, clean, and beautiful campus while contributing to climate change response efforts.
UPT Youth Union enthusiastically launches Youth Month
Immediately after the ceremony, hundreds of Youth Union members and students enthusiastically participated in volunteer activities such as cleaning the beach, improving the campus environment, and planting trees. At Da Ong Dia beach, volunteers wearing the symbolic blue shirts of youth volunteers actively collected waste and cleaned the shoreline, helping restore the natural beauty of one of the region’s well-known tourist destinations while spreading the message of protecting the marine environment to local residents and visitors. At the same time, another group of volunteers conducted a general clean-up around the university campus, removing weeds, sweeping walkways, and collecting waste to further enhance a green, clean, and pleasant learning environment.
A highlight of the program was the planting of 50 new trees within the university campus. Carefully planted and nurtured during the spring season, these young trees symbolize hope for a greener and healthier environment while demonstrating the commitment and responsibility of the university’s youth toward environmental protection and sustainable development.
