Chào mừng kỷ niệm 78 năm Ngày truyền thống lực lượng Công an nhân dân Việt Nam (19/8/1945 – 19/8/2023) và 18 năm Ngày hội Toàn dân bảo vệ an ninh Tổ quốc (19/8/2005 – 19/8/2023), ngày 07, 08/8/2023, Ban Chỉ đạo về phong trào toàn dân bảo vệ an ninh Tổ quốc và phòng chống tội phạm, tệ nạn xã hội tỉnh Bình Thuận đã tổ chức chương trình “Ngày hội toàn dân bảo vệ an ninh Tổ quốc” tại trường Đại học Phan Thiết.

Phát biểu khai mạc chương trình, Đại tá Trần Văn Mười – Phó Giám đốc Công an Tỉnh cho biết, chương trình Ngày hội toàn dân bảo vệ ANTQ được diễn ra tại trường Đại học Phan Thiết năm nay nhằm tạo điều kiện giúp tập thể cán bộ, giảng viên, nhân viên và sinh viên Nhà trường hiểu rõ hơn về vị trí, ý nghĩa, cũng như tầm quan trọng của Ngày hội toàn dân bảo vệ ANTQ, từ đó giúp mọi người ý thức được vai trò to lớn của nhân dân trong phong trào bảo vệ ANTQ. Qua chương trình, Ban Chỉ đạo mong muốn tuyên truyền, tác động đến tập thể cán bộ, giảng viên, nhân viên và sinh viên trong việc nâng cao ý thức trách nhiệm, tinh thần cảnh giác, tích cực hơn nữa trong công tác tham gia đấu tranh phòng, chống các loại tội phạm và tệ nạn xã hội, giữ gìn an toàn trật tự, xây dựng Nhà trường an toàn về an ninh, trật tự.

Trong khuôn khổ các hoạt động hưởng ứng Ngày hội toàn dân bảo vệ ANTQ, sáng 07/8/2023, tại trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã diễn ra hàng loạt các chương trình sôi nổi như: Ngày hội văn hóa ẩm thực, trò chơi dân gian; Cuộc thi nấu ăn “Ẩm thực Việt – Hương vị 3 miền”; Tuyên truyền, phổ biến pháp luật về sử dụng mạng xã hội cho sinh viên trường Đại học Phan Thiết. Các hoạt động được tổ chức thu hút sự tham gia của đông đảo cán bộ, nhân viên, giảng viên, sinh viên trường Đại học Phan Thiết, tạo khí thế thi đua sôi nổi, thắt chặt tinh thần đoàn kết của tập thể Nhà trường.
