Hòa trong không khí thi đua sôi nổi của học sinh, sinh viên cả nước, Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam Trường Đại học Phan Thiết (UPT) đã long trọng tổ chức chương trình Kỷ niệm 76 năm Ngày truyền thống Học sinh, Sinh viên và Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam (09/01/1950 – 09/01/2026). Chương trình là dịp ý nghĩa để tuổi trẻ UPT ôn lại truyền thống vẻ vang, khơi dậy niềm tự hào và tinh thần trách nhiệm của sinh viên trong giai đoạn phát triển mới.

Toàn cảnh chương trình
Phát biểu tại chương trình, TS. Nguyễn Tấn Ý đã nhấn mạnh ý nghĩa lịch sử của Ngày truyền thống Học sinh, Sinh viên Việt Nam, đồng thời gửi gắm nhiều kỳ vọng đối với công tác Hội và phong trào sinh viên trong thời gian tới. Thầy khẳng định sinh viên UPT cần tiếp tục phát huy tinh thần xung kích, sáng tạo, không ngừng rèn luyện bản lĩnh, tri thức và đạo đức để đáp ứng yêu cầu của xã hội hiện đại.

Điểm nhấn đặc biệt của chương trình là lễ vinh danh sinh viên Nguyễn Minh Sơn, người đã xuất sắc đạt danh hiệu “Sinh viên 5 tốt” cấp Trung ương năm học 2024–2025. Đây là cá nhân duy nhất của Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đạt được danh hiệu cao quý này, minh chứng rõ nét cho sự nỗ lực toàn diện trên năm tiêu chí: Đạo đức – Học tập – Thể lực – Tình nguyện – Hội nhập.
Bên cạnh đó, Hội Sinh viên Việt Nam Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã công bố Bộ tiêu chí Giải thưởng “Sao Tháng Giêng”, danh hiệu “Sinh viên 5 tốt” và “Tập thể Sinh viên 5 tốt” cấp Trường năm học 2025–2026, tạo định hướng rõ ràng để sinh viên phấn đấu và rèn luyện. Chương trình còn tổ chức tọa đàm “Hành trình Xanh”, mang đến nhiều góc nhìn thiết thực, truyền cảm hứng và động lực cho sinh viên trên con đường học tập, cống hiến và phát triển bền vững.

Amid the vibrant atmosphere of emulation among students nationwide, the Vietnam National Union of Students of University of Phan Thiet (UPT) solemnly organized the program commemorating the 76th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students and the Vietnam National Union of Students (January 9, 1950 – January 9, 2026). The event was a meaningful occasion for UPT youth to reflect on the glorious traditions of Vietnamese students, while fostering pride and a strong sense of responsibility among students in a new stage of development.

Overview of the program
In his remarks at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Tan Y emphasized the historical significance of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students and shared his expectations for student union activities and student movements in the coming period. He affirmed that UPT students should continue to promote a pioneering and creative spirit, constantly strengthening their resilience, knowledge, and ethics to meet the demands of modern society.

A highlight of the program was the honor ceremony for student Nguyen Minh Son, who excellently achieved the title of “Five-Good Student” at the Central level for the 2024–2025 academic year. He is the only student of University of Phan Thiet to receive this prestigious title, clearly demonstrating comprehensive efforts across five criteria: Ethics – Academic Performance – Physical Fitness – Volunteering – International Integration.
In addition, the Vietnam National Union of Students of Phan Thiet University officially announced the criteria for the “January Star Award,” the “Five-Good Student” title, and the “Five-Good Student Collective” title at the University level for the 2025–2026 academic year, providing clear orientation for students to strive and train themselves. The program also featured a panel discussion titled “Green Journey,” which offered practical perspectives and inspired motivation for students on their path of learning, dedication, and sustainable development.

The celebration of the 76th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students was not only an occasion to express gratitude to previous generations, but also a reminder to today’s youth of their responsibility to continue and promote these proud traditions.
