Chiều 23/4, tại Hội Trường Nhà Thiếu nhi tỉnh, Ban Thường vụ Tỉnh đoàn phối hợp Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo, Sở Thông tin và Truyền thông, Sở Khoa học và Công nghệ, Sở Tài Chính và Đài Phát thanh – Truyền hình tỉnh tổ chức Bế mạc Hội thi Tin học trẻ tỉnh Bình Thuận lần thứ XXIV, năm 2023. Có mặt tại chương trình, trường Đại học Phan Thiết vinh dự là một trong số các thành viên Ban Giám Khảo của Hội thi và đặc biệt, dành tặng 10 phần thưởng đến 10 cá nhân có thành tích xuất sắc nhất trong Hội thi lần này.
Tham dự Hội thi lần thứ XXIV có 208 thí sinh đến từ 10 huyện, thị, thành phố trong toàn tỉnh, bao gồm 88 thí sinh bậc tiểu học, 74 thí sinh bậc trung học cơ sở, 46 thí sinh bậc THPT và 20 sản phẩm dự thi phần mềm sáng tạo.

Sau nhiều ngày phát động và tổ chức thi nghiêm túc, Hội thi Tin học trẻ tỉnh Bình Thuận đã diễn ra thành công tốt đẹp. Theo nhận xét của Ban tổ chức, phần lớn các thí sinh tham gia dự thi năm nay có kỹ năng tin học thành thạo, thể hiện được kiến thức vững, khả năng tư duy và trí tưởng tượng phong phú. Nhằm động viên, khích lệ tinh thần thí sinh, ngoài các phần quà của Ban tổ chức, trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã dành tặng 10 phần thưởng cho 8 thí sinh có kết quả phần mềm sáng tạo xuất sắc nhất và 2 thí sinh bảng C đạt giải khuyến khích của Hội thi. Đặc biệt, với gian hàng tuyển sinh đặt tại Hội trường Nhà Thiếu nhi tỉnh trong ngày Bế mạc Hội thi, Ban tuyển sinh UPT đã giới thiệu đến các em học sinh rất nhiều thông tin tuyển sinh nổi bật trong năm 2023 của trường Đại học Phan Thiết như 3 phương thức xét tuyển, 3 chương trình học bổng dành cho tân sinh viên, hình thức nộp hồ sơ đăng ký, cũng như 16 ngành và 28 chuyên ngành đào tạo cực hot của Nhà trường… giúp các em học sinh có thêm sự lựa chọn phù hợp trước khi bước vào quá trình chọn ngành, chọn trường trong tương lai.
