Trong khuôn khổ Chiến dịch Thanh niên tình nguyện Mùa hè xanh năm 2026, Đoàn Thanh niên – Hội Sinh viên Trường Đại học Phan Thiết (UPT) đã triển khai nhiều hoạt động thiết thực dành cho thanh thiếu nhi tại xã Hồng Sơn, tỉnh Lâm Đồng. Không chỉ góp phần chăm lo đời sống tinh thần cho các em trong dịp hè, chuỗi hoạt động còn hướng đến trang bị kiến thức, kỹ năng sống và tạo môi trường học tập, vui chơi lành mạnh, an toàn.
Một trong những nội dung nổi bật của chiến dịch là chương trình tập huấn phòng, chống đuối nước cho thanh thiếu nhi. Xuất phát từ thực tế đuối nước vẫn là một trong những nguy cơ tiềm ẩn đối với trẻ em, đặc biệt trong kỳ nghỉ hè, các chiến sĩ tình nguyện đã trực tiếp tuyên truyền, hướng dẫn những kiến thức và kỹ năng cơ bản nhằm nâng cao ý thức phòng ngừa tai nạn.
Thông qua các buổi tập huấn, các em được hướng dẫn sử dụng áo phao đúng cách khi tham gia các hoạt động dưới nước; được khuyến cáo không tắm, bơi tại các khu vực nguy hiểm, nước sâu hoặc có dòng chảy mạnh; đồng thời được nhắc nhở luôn có người lớn đi cùng khi tham gia các hoạt động liên quan đến sông, suối, ao, hồ. Bên cạnh đó, chương trình còn khuyến khích các em chủ động học bơi, tìm hiểu kỹ năng cứu hộ an toàn và ghi nhớ số điện thoại cứu nạn khẩn cấp 114 để kịp thời xử lý khi xảy ra sự cố.

Song song với hoạt động trang bị kỹ năng sống, Đoàn Thanh niên – Hội Sinh viên Trường Đại học Phan Thiết còn tổ chức lớp học “Green Summer English” thuộc Dự án Step By Step English, mang đến môi trường học tập ngoại ngữ bổ ích cho thiếu nhi địa phương.
Với sự chuẩn bị chu đáo về giáo án, trò chơi tương tác và các hoạt động ngoại khóa, các tình nguyện viên đã giúp các em tiếp cận tiếng Anh một cách tự nhiên, sinh động thông qua bốn kỹ năng nghe, nói, đọc, viết. Không chỉ củng cố kiến thức, lớp học còn tạo động lực để các em mạnh dạn giao tiếp, hình thành sự tự tin và niềm yêu thích đối với việc học ngoại ngữ.

Bên cạnh các hoạt động học tập, chương trình Sinh hoạt hè dành cho thanh thiếu nhi cũng diễn ra trong không khí sôi nổi với nhiều trò chơi tập thể, hoạt động vận động và giao lưu văn nghệ. Các trò chơi như “Giữ banh về đích”, “Bùng nổ bong bóng” cùng những tiết mục hoạt náo đã thu hút đông đảo thiếu nhi tham gia, góp phần tạo nên sân chơi bổ ích, an toàn và giàu tính kết nối.
Thông qua các hoạt động vui chơi tập thể, các em được rèn luyện kỹ năng làm việc nhóm, khả năng phối hợp, sự tự tin và tinh thần đoàn kết. Không khí vui tươi, những tiếng cười và sự hào hứng của các em đã tạo nên những khoảnh khắc ý nghĩa, góp phần mang đến một mùa hè nhiều trải nghiệm đáng nhớ tại địa phương.

Chuỗi hoạt động dành cho thanh thiếu nhi tại xã Hồng Sơn không chỉ thể hiện tinh thần xung kích, sáng tạo và trách nhiệm của đoàn viên, sinh viên Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đối với cộng đồng mà còn khẳng định ý nghĩa thiết thực của Chiến dịch Thanh niên tình nguyện Mùa hè xanh trong việc đồng hành cùng sự phát triển toàn diện của thế hệ trẻ.
Thông qua việc kết hợp giữa giáo dục kỹ năng sống, nâng cao năng lực ngoại ngữ và tổ chức các sân chơi bổ ích, tuổi trẻ Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã góp phần lan tỏa những giá trị nhân văn, xây dựng môi trường học tập và sinh hoạt an toàn, tích cực cho thiếu nhi vùng nông thôn, đồng thời để lại những dấu ấn đẹp trong lòng người dân địa phương.

As part of the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Phan Thiet (UPT) implemented a series of practical and meaningful activities for children and young people in Hong Son Commune, Lam Dong Province. In addition to contributing to the children’s spiritual well-being during the summer, the activities aimed to equip them with essential knowledge and life skills while creating a healthy, safe, and supportive environment for learning and recreation.
One of the highlights of the campaign was a drowning prevention and water safety training program for children and young people. Given that drowning remains one of the potential risks facing children, particularly during the summer vacation, student volunteers directly provided information and guidance on basic knowledge and skills to raise awareness of drowning prevention and help children reduce the risk of accidents.
Through the training sessions, the children were instructed on how to properly wear and use life jackets when participating in water-related activities. They were advised not to swim or bathe in dangerous areas, deep water, or locations with strong currents. They were also reminded to always have an adult accompany them when participating in activities near rivers, streams, ponds, or lakes. In addition, the program encouraged the children to proactively learn how to swim, familiarize themselves with safe rescue skills, and remember the emergency rescue telephone number 114 so that appropriate action could be taken promptly in the event of an emergency.

Alongside the life skills training activities, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Phan Thiet also organized the “Green Summer English” class under the Step By Step English Project, providing local children with a meaningful and engaging environment for learning English.
With carefully prepared lesson plans, interactive games, and extracurricular activities, the volunteers helped the children learn English in a natural and engaging way through the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In addition to reinforcing their knowledge, the class encouraged the children to communicate more confidently, develop self-confidence, and cultivate an interest in learning a foreign language.

In addition to educational activities, the Summer Activities Program for children and young people took place in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, featuring a variety of team games, physical activities, and cultural exchanges. Games such as “Keep the Ball to the Finish Line” and “Balloon Explosion,” along with interactive entertainment activities, attracted a large number of children and helped create a meaningful, safe, and highly engaging recreational environment.
Through these group activities, the children had opportunities to develop teamwork skills, coordination, confidence, and a spirit of solidarity. The cheerful atmosphere, laughter, and enthusiasm of the children created memorable moments and contributed to a summer filled with meaningful experiences for the local community.

The series of activities for children and young people in Hong Son Commune not only demonstrated the pioneering spirit, creativity, and sense of responsibility of Youth Union members and students of the University of Phan Thiet toward the community, but also highlighted the practical significance of the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign in supporting the comprehensive development of the younger generation.
By combining life skills education, foreign language development, and meaningful recreational activities, the youth of the University of Phan Thiet contributed to promoting humanitarian values and creating a safe, positive learning and recreational environment for children in rural communities, while also leaving a lasting and positive impression on local residents.
