Ngày 7/6/2026, tại Trường Đại học Công nghệ Kỹ thuật TP.HCM đã diễn ra Lễ bế mạc và trao giải Vòng chung kết toàn quốc Robocon ORC năm học 2025–2026 với chủ đề “Mùa vàng công nghệ – Kỷ nguyên vươn mình”.
Cuộc thi do Viện Nghiên cứu Thiết kế Trường học (Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo) phối hợp cùng Trường Đại học Công nghệ Kỹ thuật TP.HCM và Trường Đại học Phan Thiết tổ chức, nhằm tạo môi trường thực hành, ứng dụng kiến thức khoa học, công nghệ, kỹ thuật và toán học (STEM) vào thực tiễn. Thông qua quá trình thiết kế, chế tạo và lập trình robot, cuộc thi góp phần phát triển tư duy logic, kỹ năng giải quyết vấn đề, năng lực sáng tạo và tinh thần làm việc nhóm cho học sinh, sinh viên.

Vòng chung kết toàn quốc diễn ra trong hai ngày 6 và 7/6, quy tụ gần 200 đội thi xuất sắc đến từ hơn 100 trường học trên cả nước, tranh tài ở ba bảng đấu: Tiểu học, THCS và THPT – Sinh viên.
Tham gia sân chơi công nghệ năm nay, Trường Đại học Phan Thiết có tổng cộng 8 đội thi đến từ Khoa Công nghệ Thông tin và Khoa Kỹ thuật Công nghệ. Trong đó, Khoa Công nghệ Thông tin tham gia với 2 đội và Khoa Kỹ thuật Công nghệ có 6 đội. Các đội đã thể hiện tinh thần sáng tạo, bản lĩnh và khả năng vận dụng kiến thức chuyên môn vào thực tiễn thông qua việc tự lắp ráp, lập trình và điều khiển robot vượt qua các thử thách của Ban Tổ chức.

Kết thúc giải đấu, Ban Tổ chức đã trao các giải thưởng chính và giải phụ cùng giấy khen, tiền thưởng và nhiều phần quà công nghệ giá trị nhằm ghi nhận, động viên tinh thần sáng tạo của các đội thi. Đặc biệt, đội UPT – BT của Trường Đại học Phan Thiết đã xuất sắc vượt qua nhiều đối thủ mạnh trên cả nước để giành Giải nhì tại Robocon ORC 2025–2026. Đây là thành tích đáng tự hào, khẳng định chất lượng đào tạo, năng lực nghiên cứu – sáng tạo của sinh viên nhà trường, đồng thời thể hiện sự quan tâm, đầu tư của Trường Đại học Phan Thiết trong việc phát triển các hoạt động học thuật, nghiên cứu khoa học và ứng dụng công nghệ.

Thành tích của đội UPT – BT không chỉ là niềm tự hào của tập thể giảng viên và sinh viên Trường Đại học Phan Thiết mà còn là động lực để Nhà trường tiếp tục đẩy mạnh các hoạt động nghiên cứu khoa học, đổi mới sáng tạo và phát triển nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao trong thời đại công nghệ số. Đặc biệt, thông qua việc phối hợp tổ chức các cuộc thi học thuật và công nghệ như Robocon ORC, Trường Đại học Phan Thiết mong muốn tạo ra những sân chơi bổ ích, lành mạnh, giúp học sinh, sinh viên phát huy khả năng sáng tạo, vận dụng kiến thức vào thực tiễn và nuôi dưỡng niềm đam mê nghiên cứu khoa học. Đây cũng là hoạt động ý nghĩa góp phần phát hiện, bồi dưỡng tài năng trẻ, đồng thời thúc đẩy phong trào học tập và đổi mới sáng tạo trong cộng đồng học sinh, sinh viên.

On June 7, 2026, the Closing and Award Ceremony of the National Finals of the ORC Robocon Competition for the 2025–2026 academic year was held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education under the theme “Golden Harvest of Technology – An Era of Advancement.”
The competition was jointly organized by the Institute for School Design Research (Ministry of Education and Training), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, and the University of Phan Thiet. The event aimed to provide students with a practical environment to apply their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to real-world situations. Through the process of designing, building, and programming robots, the competition contributed to the development of logical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork among pupils and university students.

The National Finals took place over two days, June 6–7, bringing together nearly 200 outstanding teams from more than 100 educational institutions across the country. Teams competed in three divisions: Primary School, Lower Secondary School, and Upper Secondary School–University.
Participating in this year’s technology competition, the University of Phan Thiet entered a total of eight teams from the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Of these, two teams represented the Faculty of Information Technology, while six teams came from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The teams demonstrated creativity, determination, and the ability to apply specialized knowledge to practical challenges by independently assembling, programming, and operating robots to complete tasks set by the Organizing Committee.

At the conclusion of the competition, the Organizing Committee presented major awards, special awards, certificates of merit, cash prizes, and valuable technology gifts in recognition of the teams’ creativity, dedication, and achievements. Notably, the UPT–BT team of the University of Phan Thiet delivered an outstanding performance, surpassing numerous strong competitors from across the country to secure the National Second Prize at ORC Robocon 2025–2026. This remarkable achievement reflects the quality of the University’s education, as well as the research and innovation capabilities of its students. It also demonstrates the University of Phan Thiet’s commitment to investing in academic activities, scientific research, and technological applications.
